dealing with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma: Please
pray earnestly for this request. Paul
and Trish are greatly used of the Lord in full time ministry. This has taken them off the road and you
know what that means as far as income.
Paul’s surgery went well. They put in two rods and four screws to
relieve the pressure on the spinal cord.
He has started the chemo pills and seems to be handling it okay. The pain level seems to be slightly less
than it has been. Paul is getting around pretty well. Trish’s mother, Faye Pohl, will be having surgery for a hernia
in her abdomen on January 30. The opening is about 5 inches wide
by 10 inches long, so a mesh will be inserted all the way across her
tummy. I know that she appreciates your prayers. The
surgery as always carries some risk. She has already had 2 within
the past year and a half, so there will be adhesions to deal with in
getting the repair in place. The cells of her body are still weak
from the chemo, radiation, and steroids she was on, making healing much
more difficult. That's why she has the hernia in the first
place. She has been such a blessing to us these days having gone
through much of the same territory and being
there to help with meals. I know that our being here has to be a
stress for her, but God has given strength above herself. Please pray for Trish as she deals with all
the family illness. Also, pray that

Please
pray for my dad - Henry - nickname Heidi - diagnosed today with colon/rectal
cancer - seeing a specialist on Tuesday in I
need you to help pray for us. Shane and I have been going
through a tough time the last few weeks. Shane started out with
bronchitis and then took strep throat but before
she had hardly gotten it to clear up it settled into pneumonia. We had
to go back to the doctor with him today. She gave him a big $100
shot in the backside and stronger antibiotics as well as some predizone. Seems like no matter what she
has done over the last 10 days he has just gotten worse instead of
better. But we are praying and believing the Lord will see him through,
he has been off work for nearly 2 weeks. He has to go back to the
doctor on Thursday. As
far as my foot is concerned, if you remember I told you my foot would keep
swelling and they didn't know why. It would hurt to walk on it, but I
thought it was just do to the swelling. Then
about a week or so ago a bad looking blood blister developed on the inside of
my big toe on that foot. I decided I better have the doctor take a look
at it and she nearly went through the roof. It scared her half to death
because she thought it was gangrene. She sent me to Dr. Webb and he
looked at it, cleaned it out some and kept me on the antibiotics but while
there I ask him about the swelling. They had taken some xrays of the foot; when he looked at them he came in and ask me how did I break it?? I didn't know, didn't
even know it was broke. Well, it was broke down bad so no wonder my
right leg was seeming like it was shorter than the
left. Anyway, he didn't know exactly what to do because he couldn't
really but a cast on it until the toe healed but he did put a removable cast
on it. That way it would brace the ankle and foot but could be removed
to change the dressing on my foot. Today though when I went in or him
to check it out, he told me I had to stay off that foot for the
next six weeks because if it broke down anymore and started coming through
the bottom of my foot I would lose my leg. Well, with all I have to do,
and everyone to take care of that is going to be really tough, but somehow we
will make it. Dr. Webb said it would not be easy to do with only one
leg either. It is a good thing I don't believe all the bad reports but
only what the Word of God says. Anyway, keep us in your prayers.

HER SIGHT, WITH A POSSIBLE TUMOR INVOLVED.
PRAY FOR THE LORD TO SEND DELIVERANCE THEIR WAY. CONTINUE TO REMEMBER BENNIE WHITE OF
GOSPEL TRAIL WHO HAS BEEN DEALING WITH PROSTATE CANCER. ELIZABETH DAVENPORT DEALING WITH
MEDICALISSUES WITH HER EARS. AL MARTIN, PRETTY MISS NORMA JEAN’S
HUSBAND HAS BEEN DEALING WITH LOSS OF SIGHT RECENTLY FROM A MEDICAL CONDITION
THAT HAS DEVELOPED. PLEASE PRAY FOR
